1. What
charges are included on my monthly pharmacy bill?
Your monthly pharmacy
bill reflects charges for the medications and supplies you received for that billing
period. The amounts you owe may include,
but are not limited to, medications or supplies not covered by your insurance
(example: over-the-counter medications), insurance deductibles, and
co-payments/co-insurance.
Remedi SeniorCare
will submit medication claims to your insurance company, on your behalf, and
will work with your doctor to provide any additional information the company
may request. As noted above, your
statement will reflect those charges not paid by the insurance company.
2. After
enrolling in the on-line payment service, when can I start paying my bills?
After you complete and submit the
enrollment form and respond to the activation email, we will start your service
immediately. You can then access the service to pay a current bill or view past
bills. You should begin receiving an E-Bill notification within a month or so,
depending upon the billing cycle.
3. What
if I forget my password?
The initial screen provides the ability for you to have your password sent to the
email address used when you enrolled.
4. How
am I billed for this service?
There is no cost for
enrolling in and using this payment site. See the service Terms and Conditions
for complete details.
5. How
do I cancel this payment service?
To cancel, log in
and click “Un-enroll” or you may contact our billing department at the phone
number in the upper right hand corner of the statement. Click the “Contact Us”
hyperlink on the web page for contact information.
6. If an account is in a name other than
my own, can I still sign up for E-Bill payment service?
Yes, as long as
you have the correct account number and zip code where statement is mailed as
it appears on the monthly paper bill.
7. Will I receive a reminder that I have
an E-Bill ready for viewing and paying?
Yes, you will receive an e-mail notification
reminding you that an E-Bill is on the site and is ready for payment.
8. How
quickly will I see my payment reflected on my account?
You will see it reflected immediately as a pending payment on your account.
9. Will I still receive a paper copy of
the bill through the U.S. mail?
You will continue to
receive paper bills through the U.S. mail in addition to the E-Bill unless you
sign-up for paperless statements. You
will have access to a copy of each bill on-line and the option to download and
print for your records.
10. Can I store or view paid E-Bills?
You can view and make
payments on the most recent E-Bill only. You can always use your
browser's print function to print the bill if you want to keep a copy for your
records. Payment history can be viewed under “Payment History”.
11. How do I change my personal information? The
address or responsible party information shown on my statement is incorrect.
How do I change it?
In your Account Setup
on this site, you can make changes to your address as well as the responsible
party information under “Profile”.
Additionally, you may go to “Contact Us”, for the phone number of your local
billing office to let us know of any changes. Your updates will be reflected in
our billing system within three (3) days of receiving the information.
12. Where
should I send my payment?
Payment should be sent to the address
in the remit to section of your statement. For your convenience, a return envelope
is enclosed or you may choose to pay online by logging in to your online
account and pay using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or by direct debit from your bank.
If you make an on-line payment, it will be sent to the appropriate billing
department for processing.
13. I
provided my prescription drug insurance information to the nursing home or
assisted living community when I moved in. Why am I receiving this statement?
Your statement will
reflect charges for any co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles as well as
medications not covered by your insurance.
Additionally,
if our pharmacy billing department has not received information that you provided
to the facility or community, you will receive a statement reflecting the full
charges. In some cases we may not have been able to process information that
you have furnished prior to the mailing of a statement. We apologize if your
account has not been updated with the relevant information you supplied prior
to the statement being mailed and ask that you contact us at the phone number
in the upper left hand corner of your statement with any corrections.
14. Why
didn’t my insurance company pay in full?
Although we are
not in a position to answer your specific question here, many insurance plans
have a deductible, co-pay, or coinsurance amount. Sometimes certain charges or
portions of charges are not covered under particular insurers. This may be the
case with your carrier.
To confirm your responsibility under your insurance plan, if any, you can call
your insurance company directly.
